Homelessness continues to be a concern in cities across the country. Community engagement is the best way to introduce proactive measures and give people hope and opportunity.
The Bellevue Foundation is working with local civic leaders, service providers, and businesses to achieve Functional Zero homelessness—practices that keep people from chronic homelessness.
- We are involved in the development of a comprehensive plan specifically for homelessness in East King County.
- We are part of a group dedicated to addressing youth homelessness through a Built for Zero initiative.
Finding ways to deliver affordable housing.
Bellevue is one of the most desirable cities to live in the Northwest, but a side effect is unrelenting pressure on housing affordability.
Working with others, we are exploring a real-time integrated solution that may be on the horizon to expand housing options.
